Motion and Time

We could say that something was ‘in motion’ if its distances to various points on Earth were changing in time. A motion is change of location or position of an object with respect to time. Change in motion is the result of an applied force. Motion is typically described in terms of velocity also seen as speed, acceleration, displacement, and time.
in other words we can say motion is human percept–motion is what we perceive in our brain, something we can sense and communicate.

Motion and Time have to be used together in order to achieve rational and reasonable results. Motion is always observed and measured relative to a frame of reference. As there is no absolute frame of reference, absolute motion cannot be determined, this is emphasised by the term relative motion. A body which is motionless relative to a given reference frame, is still moving relative to infinitely many other frames. Thus, everything in the universe is moving. It is common experience that the motion of some objects is slow while that of some others is fast. We know that some vehicles move faster than others. Even the same vehicle may move faster or slower at different times.
